Catalog

The Catalog is where you define the dishes, modifiers, categories, and packaging your account uses. Pickpad uses this data to predict the weight of an incoming order before it lands on the scale.

If no catalog exists yet, go to Catalog in the dashboard and click Create catalog.

Once created, the catalog has four tabs: Categories, Dishes, Modifiers, and Packages.

Getting started

You don't need to fill the catalog by hand from scratch. As orders come in, Pickpad automatically adds the dishes and modifiers it sees to your catalog. After a period of normal order activity, your catalog will contain all the items your kitchen produces.

What you do need to set manually is the weight for each dish, modifier, and package, and optionally the allowed deviation. Until those values are filled in, Pickpad will skip weight prediction for any item that hasn't been weighed yet.
