Catalog

The Catalog is where you keep the dishes, modifiers, categories, and packaging your account uses. Pickpad uses this information to guess how much an incoming order should weigh, before it ever touches the scale.

Don't have a catalog yet? Go to Catalog in the dashboard and click Create catalog.

Once it's created, you'll see four tabs: Categories, Dishes, Modifiers, and Packages.

Getting started

You don't need to build the catalog by hand. As orders come in, Pickpad automatically picks up the dishes and modifiers it sees and adds them to your catalog. Give it some time with normal order activity, and it'll fill in with everything your kitchen makes.

The one thing you still need to do yourself is set the weight for each dish, modifier, and package, and optionally an allowed deviation for each. Until an item has a weight entered, Pickpad can't predict its weight — it'll just skip that item.
