Weight Settings & Deviation
What is weight deviation?
When Pickpad predicts an order's weight from the catalog, it also works out an acceptable range around that number. If the scale's actual reading falls outside that range, Pickpad can flag the order as potentially wrong.
The deviation is expressed as a percentage of the predicted weight, plus an optional absolute gram value.
Where deviation is configured
You can set deviation at three levels, and they're applied in priority order (the most specific one wins):

If a dish has no deviation set, Pickpad checks its category next. If the category has none either, it falls back to the account default.
Account-level defaults
In Settings, two values control the global fallback:

| Weight delta (abs) | 5 g | A fixed gram tolerance added on top of the percentage tolerance |
These kick in for any dish or modifier that doesn't have its own category or dish-level override.
