Order Management
These settings decide when and how incoming orders make their way onto a Pickpad.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Accept new orders | Let Pickpad accept and distribute incoming orders automatically, without anyone having to step in. |
| Close order when closed in POS | Keep order completion in sync — when an order is closed in your POS, Pickpad closes it too. |
| Distribute on status | The moment an order gets sent to a Pickpad: as soon as it's Preparing (10), once it's Prepared (20), or only when it's Finished (40). |
Which order types reach a Pickpad
Which orders get routed to Pickpads at all is controlled per station, not on the account Settings page. On each station's configuration you'll find three toggles:

| Process pickup orders | On | Send pickup orders to this station's Pickpads |
| Process delivery orders | Off | Send delivery orders to this station's Pickpads too |
| Process in-store orders | Off | Send dine-in orders to this station's Pickpads too |
If an order has nowhere to go — every pad's busy — it doesn't just fail. See Orders Queue for how to hold onto those orders and place them once a pad frees up.
